How do we operate: -
1. After preliminary discussions we recommend various designs of decking and structures to the client to give us a rough idea what they want, we do not charge anything for the exercise
2. After inputs from client and studying various factors, we decide THE type of structure we want for the location, whether is it TIPI, YURT, Geodesic dome, A frame, Alachighs and what size shape, combinations, what material to be used etc.
3. The expert architect is brought on board, and we give a draft design, type, material to be used, interior rendering and exterior rendering
4. We collect raw material prices from the local market and prepare a quote for the project.
5. After the quotation is agreed we sign a contract with the clients and various compliance agreements as agreed upon
6. Project start and finish.

What we create
The geodesic and other nomadic structures can be created as per the uses and the area of application. Some changes in the material used can make them suitable for any place, we adapt and design these structures as per the weather conditions. for example the structure strength will depend upon what and where is being used. if the snow load is very high to 8 feet and above we will have to use a thicker profile and also the latest insulation materials like aerogel, or calcium silicate slabs, rockwool and others wont work at minus 60 degree.
Geodesic dome design will be different for high humidity prone areas, low temperature areas, high temperature areas, it will be different for mountain and for planes. This is one of the prime reasons we love to interact with clients so that they can maximize the potential of these structures and value for each penny spent- yes, it takes a little time in planning phase

1. Tipi/Teepee: -
Let's start with our most loved one.
In today's world tipi can be employed as part of a resort, meditation center, yoga studio, a cozy office space, or a affordable living space, tipi fits everywhere.
THE TIPI has all the warmth, strength and love of a mother, you are tugged and safe inside a tipi and yet very close to nature. There can be books written on tipi and its uses, the best tipi makers in USA are the nomadic tipi, the couple have given more then 50 years for the tipi.
Our tipi is made from Ripstop polycotton, 12/14 OZ fabric and is very strong, tipi comes with inner and lacing pins and all other accessories required. We customize tipi by choice of style, color painting inside and on the inner, sizes

2. CHUM/CHOOM:-
When things can be simple, why make it complex- Roman
Chum/choom is the oldest structure used by humans, all the other nomadic structures like tipi, yurt all originated from chum, this is the oldest way we humans survived all kinds of weather conditions all over the globe. This collection of poles and meeting at one point is the simplest yet strongest method of making a home. All you need is a cover and poles.
The tipi is a more refined format of chum, where they had a detailing, painting and fixed method of construction, and location of door.
Chum/choom survived many centuries and evolutions, but this structure never had an alternative in Siberia, so people still use these houses. The structure is made of poles, more in numbers then tipi, and the height is kept low so that it can take on any strong winds or a blizzard.
The choom/chum is made to order from thick canvas/ 14 OZ polycotton or a thick PVC fabric, The cover is in two parts and easy to put on the structure. If you are in a colder climate and would be using chum for a longer duration we recommend using two layers, the inner layer can be of felt.
To make a choom home, all you need is few poles, a stove with pipe and two set of covers of your choice. We can send you painted covers also if you wish so. The poles can be sourced locally and can be made of any wood or bamboo.
If you wish to make it a home for a longer duration, a inner liner can be used like in tipi
Also, the top fabric can have windows made of Polycarbonate transparent material in round shape, we can paint your covers as per your drawings.

3. Ala- Chigh-(Nomadic Shasvan Tent, Iran)
Ala- Chigh is a very strong structure used by Shaswan Nomads of Iran, they are the people who has to go through all kinds of harsh weather, high winds and storms, snow, rains.
Ala chigh evolved as people started living for a longer duration at one place and thus, they bent the poles to make more space and strong forces.
This is the strongest structure as it is made of bend poles like bows, and all the poles join at the center as in yurt. The poles once erected with the center ring are tied up with two or three ropes moving along the circumference tying all the poles together.
The best thing which makes this structure most powerful is the chain which is tied up and tightened to the ground makes all the forces in harmony. This structure is like a inverted bowl and the center of the bowl is tied to ground.
The modern version is seen by using the PVC fabric and wood joined together.
We make alachighs from solid bamboo and the top cover can be fabric of choice in PVC/Canvas/Polycotton

4.Yurt/Jurta-
As the humans started doing agriculture and pastoralisation, they started living at one place for a longer duration of time, the yurt was developed by people of the Mongolia and neighboring countries and till date this is home to many. There are people staying near the capital city of magnolia in yurts.
Yurt was developed from alachigh and other cone shaped nomadic structures, but the essence and soul remained the same. this too has a center ring or TONA where all the rafters meet. The difference is of side walls which are made of sticks and can be folded and rolled.
The modern yurt developed by Europeans and American people is no difference, the difference is how you make center ring, lattice, lattice support, doors and windows. Chinese developed yurt in steel and aluminum where lattice is missing and so does the soul.
The cover was animal hides and canvas now PVC and other fabrics are used with aluminum foil insulation.

Bamboo- Solid treated bamboo, 30 to 40mm thick, not hollow as lattice, weaved by leather at every 1 feet of distance.

5.Desert Houses
Each individual has his own likes and dislikes, some would like to go for more rustic and ecofriendly desert houses made of local available materials. In Rajasthan they are a necessity and are being built with various building materials. The house has 2 parts, side wall and roof. Side walls can be built with Mud bricks, rammed earth, cob, or stone which is available nearby to the site, or just the caliche lumps. The roof again can be built with local poles, eucalyptus poles, bamboo etc The thatching material will depend upon the project location.
We can build these houses anywhere and, in any sizes, starting from 7 meter till 10 meters
They can be built in circular, rectangular, square or any shape desired by the client.

6. A-Frame House
A frame or triangular house are small hut types houses which are affordable and easy to build. There are only two sides starting from the foundation and meeting on top forming an A. These houses must have evolved from nomadic structures and huts, they became popular around 1950. The steep incline in the structure does not allow snow to accumulate. There are many styles of A frame houses, and a lot of designing and changes can be done as per the client imagination, budget and weather conditions.

In the era of so many look a like, customization is the solution, look and feel special, only one of its kind, your special A frame.
This is 7-meter geodesic dome structure, made from tata steel, this is not single point as being sold in the market, but it has base plates and connectors, this geodesic dome weight is around 600 kg on the frame. The advantage of this dome is that it has a beautiful shape, and it is only one layer, no ups and downs. When covered with any material it looks far better than the one-point, single nut domes. The dome is made in frequency 4, which means the triangles are about 1 meter and this gives the dome a good strength. The geodesic dome has 21 baseplates which can be bolted to the floor, it has 91 connectors. The paint is powder coated anti rot, and anti-abrasive.
The outer cover we use is 950 GSM, Sergio Ferrari, the best in the globe, guaranty of 15 years is provided by the company. The best thing about these geodesic domes is that you can take them anywhere, just put some long nails in the baseplates and start living in it, this won't fly, this dome does not need a special deck.....put it anywhere

We believe that no homes have a single room and thus be designed the combination domes for some living space for the clients. This is not possible with single point domes because they are not strong and adding one more dome to the structure will make it weak, but our domes are different and strong made from best tata steel and high frequency for added strength.
The combination domes are also essential for air circulation and hygiene, generally single domes in the market start having bad smell issues and also issues related to fungal and mold, because they do not have air circulation as it is a cramped space, we do not recommend any of our clients to have bathroom inside the dome, we can't just copy some concept from another country and implement in high temperature and high humidity areas.
The single domes of various sizes can be combined together for a better spacious living space, why do we have to live in a cramped space when we have options for a spacious living. This double combinations of so many domes is developed by HOUBARA for the global market. We are the only company making so many combinations for our clients.Every person or a family have a different needs, some would like to have a bigger spacious living area and a smaller toilet attached, for offgrid a combination of 7+7 or 7+8 is enough for a couple.
We find practical problems and solve them. so choose your combination, whether you will like to live in a 9 meter dome and have a 7 meter bathroom or would you like to have both of the same size......all depends on you
7+9+7 Triple Geodesic dome
Triple domes are innovation and developed by Houbara Outdoors, we have not applied for patent on this design, nor we wish to, because we believe geodesic is a tool like bricks and no restriction should be there on its use. The reason behind developing this triple combination of domes is the necessity of humans, and a lot of air circulation, which keeps the environment inside these domes healthy and dry.
You would like to have a drawing room for the guests, a small library, some storage space, a spacious living and a bathroom, all this can be achieved in this combination of domes. These domes are solid structure and can withstand any wind velocity, hurricanes and snow loads. Bury them in snow and nothing would happen to them.
So you can have any combination of these triple domes, the best is to have a bigger dome in the middle and smaller domes to the sides, 7+9+7 is a big space, you can go for smaller combinations as per your uses and weather conditions, likes.

Few months back one of our clients from Canada called us and asked whether we can create a hobbit house kind of thing, we requested him to draw a rough sketch and send it to us, he gave us all his requirements and how he wish to use it, he wanted to cover this dome with grass and sides rocks. so here is another combination of triple dome which can be used as a earth ship, combine few of them and you have a earth ship covered with grass and a healthy living space. One of our clients wanted to make a yoga and wellness centre in the glamping resort. The client gave us some input, and here is our design for it. The construction has already started with the planning of the deck and all geodesic domes. This is one example to show that geodesic has endless possibilities.
